ALBANY – The College of Saint Rose women's team chalked up a 140-96 victory against visiting Bentley University, but the men's squad suffered a 127-110 defeat despite winning nine of 11 races as the visiting Falcons took advantage of a Saint Rose roster that does not comprise a diver.

Kelly Davidson being recognized before what marked the final home meet of their careers.
The women's team benefitted from several outstanding performances on the afternoon as six different student-athletes recorded at least one victory. Sophomore
Alicia Robinson accounted for two of the wins, while sophomore
Amy Lamparelli and freshman
Caitlin Peterson each had a first and a second place finish.
Robinson swept the 50 and 100-yard freestyles with respective times of 26.08 and 56.88, Lamparelli won the 200 individual medley in 2:18.57 and touched second with a 1:02.52 clocking in the 100 butterfly. Peterson swam a winning 500 free time of 5:18.36 and touched second in the 200 with a 2:00.13 clocking. Sophomore
Christine Lockwood finished the 1,000 free in 11:10.22, freshman
Stephanie Schuyler swam the 100 back in 1:02.62, and fellow freshman
Hilary Stanmyer completed the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.62 to account for the other three victories.
Schuyler, Stanmyer, Lamparelli, and Robinson also hit the wall first in the 200 medley relay with a 1:55.28 clocking; while junior
Rosalie Palmer, Lockwood, Peterson and Davidson won the 200 free relay in 1:46.58.
As for the men, Senkewich and freshmen
Ryan Brauer and
Bryan Shaver spearheaded the Golden Knights effort. Senkewich swept the 50 and 100 free with respective times of 49.25 and 22.83; Shaver took the 500 and 1000 in 4:55.17 and 10:10.190, while Brauer hit the wall first in the 200 free, the 100 butterfly and the 100 breaststroke. He swam the 200 free in 1:45.49, finished the 100 fly in 52.93 and finished the 100 breast in 59.89.
Edwards, Shaver and Senkewich were part of the winning 200 free relay quartet, along with freshman
Vadim Yafayev, that swam a collective 1:29.69. Yafayev also had a winning effort behind a 2:01.21 clocking in the 200 IM.
Saint Rose will spend the next three weeks preparing for the season-ending Metropolitan Conference Championships that are scheduled to run from Friday, February 20 through Sunday, February 22 at Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ.
