Nicole Boudreau Connell, a 1994 graduate, rewrote the record book as one of the finest all-around volleyball players for Saint Rose. The three-time captain paced the team in kill (36.0), setting (93.0) and dig (77.0) percentages in her sophomore season. Nicole set nine records in her junior year, including single-season records in kills (410, 3.3), blocks (213) as well as 91.0 serving and 86.0 passing percentages. The two-time NYCAC All-Conference middle hitter became the program’s first player to reach the 1,000 kill mark and finished her career owning 11 school records covering every facet of the game, including serving (195 aces), blocking (707), digs (1,162) and kills (1,226).
