Eileen Pickett, a 1977 graduate, was a standout player and leader of the women’s basketball teams at Saint Rose from 1973-1977. She was the team MVP and leading scorer each season, scored 1,245 points in 53 games and held 11 records upon her graduation, including the career scoring average record of 23.4 points per-game that still stands.
