Deborah Springer still holds four school records outdoors (1500, 3000, 5000, 10,000 meters) and three additional standards indoors (1500, Mile, 3000). She was a 1995 All-American in the 10,000 meter run outdoors (36:49.00) with a sixth place finish at the NCAA Championships where she also finished 12th in the 3000m run.
Springer was subsequently named an All-East selection by Eastern Track Magazine in the 10,000m outdoors and was a member of the winning 4x800 indoor relay team that set a Kutztown Fieldhouse and still standing school record (9:43.21) at the 1995 ECAC Championships. She was furthermore part of the school record 4x800 outdoor relay team.
