College of Saint Rose Athletics

The 1990-91 men’s basketball squad captured the NAIA District 31 Championship; the program’s second such title in three years, and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament at the renowned Kemper Arena in Kansas City. The Golden Knights finished 20-9 and upended powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas 96-89 in the District 31 Championship game during the College’s final transition year towards full-time NCAA status. Saint Rose furthermore recorded its fourth consecutive 20-win season and won the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference championship.
